Park Farm is home to several light aircraft and microlights, but due to limited parking space it is strictly PPR (Prior Permission Required). The airstrip is 600 yards long and 25 yards wide, and has good approaches. The farm access road crosses the SE threshold where the windsock is located. Owners wishing to base their aircraft on the strip should contact Peter French initially. 50% of the circuit lies inside the Luton CTR in airspace which is used intensively by the London Gliding Club. Pilots may only arrive by air at the invitation of one of the residents who will then be responsible for the briefing and provision of parking space (normally in front of his own hangar), and who will be present at both the arrival and departure to operate the traffic warning lights. |
